Available kittens and reserving
Which kittens do you have available right now?
Our Kittens page lists every current kitten with a photo, breed, sex and price, and it is updated as litters are born and homes are chosen. For the newest news, call or text 678-617-1034 or email us and we will tell you what is available today.
How do I reserve a kitten?
Choose your kitten, then send the $500 holding deposit so the kitten stays available for you. We then email a Sales and Health Agreement that you sign and return. Call, text or email us and we will walk you through each step.
How much is the holding deposit?
The holding deposit is $500 per kitten. It should be sent as soon as possible after you choose, because a kitten is not held without a cleared deposit.
Is the deposit refundable?
No, the deposit is not refundable. It is transferable to any other available kitten if your first choice does not work out. We place kittens at the best age for bonding, and a change of mind late in the process can cost a kitten that window.
Can I transfer my deposit to a different kitten?
Yes. The holding deposit is transferable to any available kitten. Contact us and we will show you who is available.
What happens after I pay the deposit?
We email you a Sales and Health Agreement. It must be filled out, signed and returned within 24 hours of your payment of the deposit or your verbal acceptance of the kitten.
What is the Sales and Health Agreement?
It is the written contract between you and TMZ Kittenz N Katz that covers the sale and the health terms. We email it after you reserve a kitten, and you sign and return it within 24 hours. Read it carefully and ask us about anything that is unclear.
Can I tell you what kind of kitten I am looking for?
Yes, and please do. Let us know the breed, sex, coat length and temperament you like, and we will point you to the kittens that fit. We raise British Shorthair, British Longhair, Scottish Fold, Scottish Straight and Munchkin kittens.
How will I know when you are expecting kittens?
Call, text, email or send us a message and we will let you know when kittens are expected. We also post litter news on our Facebook page.
What if the kitten I want is already sold?
Ask us about other available kittens, or about upcoming litters. If you already sent a deposit, it can be transferred to any available kitten.
Do you sell adult cats?
Our sales terms cover both kittens and cats. Our listings are mostly kittens, so contact us to ask whether an adult cat is available.
How do I contact TMZ Kittenz N Katz?

Do you have photos and details for each kitten?
Yes. Each listing on our Kittens page shows the kitten, breed, sex and price. We are glad to send more pictures and details when you call, text or email us.
Where are your kittens raised?
Our kittens are raised in our home in Gainesville, Georgia, not in a warehouse or kennel building. They are handled daily and socialized so they are ready for family life.
Prices and payment
How much do your kittens cost?
Our listed kittens have recently been priced between $800 and $3,500, and most are $2,500. The price depends on the individual kitten and breed. Check the Kittens page for current prices or contact us.
Why do pedigreed kittens cost more than shelter or free kittens?
A pedigreed kitten comes from a registered breeding program with a documented family tree, and the price reflects the cost of caring for the parents and raising the litter. A TMZ kitten also comes with TICA registration, a microchip and litter box training. Shelter adoption is a wonderful choice too, but it is a different path.
What payment methods do you accept?
We are somewhat flexible and accept methods such as credit card, PayPal and cash at pickup. Contact us to confirm the options for your purchase before you send any money.
Can I pay by check?
Please contact us first. If a check is used, the kitten is not considered yours until the payment has been paid in full and has cleared.
When is the balance due?
If your kitten will be shipped, you must pay in full before the kitten leaves our cattery. If you pick up in person, you can pay the balance by credit card, PayPal or cash when you collect your kitten.
Do you offer payment plans?
We are flexible about payment methods, so please call or email to talk through what works for you. The holding deposit and the balance schedule are explained in your Sales and Health Agreement.
Is shipping included in the kitten's price?
No. Shipping and delivery charges are not included and are an additional fee. You can also arrange your own transportation or pick up in person.
What does my kitten come with?
Your kitten arrives litter box trained, well socialized and microchipped. For travel, your kitten goes in an airline-approved carrier with a sample of food. Your kitten is already registered with TICA, and we give you instructions to order the pedigree.
Is TICA registration included?
Yes, your kitten is already registered with TICA. When you pick up your kitten we give you instructions to order the pedigree from TICA, and the time it takes to arrive by mail varies.
Are Venmo or Zelle accepted?
Contact us to confirm which payment methods we accept for your order. If you ever pay through PayPal or Venmo, send it as a business transaction rather than "friends and family" so you keep dispute protection.
Why do you recommend credit cards or PayPal?
They include buyer protection that wire services like MoneyGram and Western Union do not. We suggest paying only through methods confirmed directly with us by phone or email.
Do prices differ by breed?
Prices vary from kitten to kitten. For example, we have listed British Shorthair and Scottish kittens at $2,500 and Munchkins at $3,500. See our Kittens page for current pricing.
Do you sell jewelry or accessories?
Our sales terms include a policy for jewelry and accessory sales, which are final unless an order is incorrect or arrives damaged. Contact us to ask what is currently offered.

Do Munchkins need a companion?
They enjoy company. If you are away often, consider another pet to keep your Munchkin company.
Do Munchkins need special grooming?
Brush weekly. Because short legs can make it hard to reach every spot, watch for areas they miss.
Are there health concerns with Munchkins?
The mutation that causes short legs can lead to other health issues, though most Munchkins get around with little trouble. Ask your breeder and veterinarian about their health.
Registration, licensing and reviews
What does TICA registered mean?
TICA is The International Cat Association. Registration is a record of a cat's recorded ancestry, and a pedigree documents that family tree.

How do I order my kitten's pedigree?
Your kitten is already registered with TICA. When you collect your kitten, we give you instructions to order the pedigree, and mailing time varies depending on TICA.
Does TICA registration tell me about my kitten's health?
No. A pedigree documents ancestry, while veterinary records document health. Ask for both and talk to your veterinarian.
What is your return policy?
We do not accept returns for a refund or exchange unless a certified veterinarian provides written confirmation of an illness that makes the kitten unfit for sale. You may return or surrender a cat or kitten any time for any reason without refund.
How can I tell a legitimate breeder from a scammer?
Check for a license, a BBB listing, real reviews and a real address and phone. Always ask to see the kitten in person or by video chat before paying.
Health and kitten care
Should my new kitten see a veterinarian?
Yes. Schedule a veterinary exam soon after you bring your kitten home so your vet can set up a vaccination and care plan.

Yes, kittens arrive microchipped. Remember to register your contact details with the chip company.
Should my kitten live indoors?
Yes. Keeping cats indoors protects them from cars, disease and other animals.
How often should I brush my cat?
It depends on the coat. Shorthair breeds do well with brushing two or three times a week, Folds weekly, and longhaired cats more often.
How do I introduce a kitten to my dog or other cat?
Go slowly. Start with a separate room, swap scents on a blanket, and then allow short, supervised meetings.
How do I prepare my home for a new kitten?
Set up a safe room with a litter box, food, water, a bed and toys, and kitten-proof cords and small objects. Our blog guide covers the full checklist.
